History

Samon AB, established 1990, started as a development project within another company working with refrigeration, ventilation and controls. The company had during the first 10 years only a small number of customers. In 1999 an international network was starting to be built up and a limited export started.

During 2002-2004 the relationship to some international customers were improved and Samon got the status of “preferred supplier”. In January 2006 the company moved into a new built office and production facility in Vellinge, about 10 km south of Malmö.

 

Since the start 1990 have Samon delivered more than 20000 detectors only for refrigeration systems. This makes us to one of the biggest manufacturer in Europe.
