Refrigerant plants
Leakage in refrigerant plants will always bring problems and reduce the profit. That "freon" is harmful for the environment is generally known, ammonia is toxic and propane is in addition explosive. With SAMON's gas monitoring system the leakage is discovered before it has the chance to jeopardize people's health, our environment or that the temperature rises so valuable merchandise or equipment are damaged.
Ventilation on demand
To let the demand control the ventilation means large savings compared to time-controlled or manual systems. SAMON's gas detectors measures the concentration of carbon monoxide (CO) from petrol powered cars or the nitric dioxide (NO2) from diesel powered vehicles, that is formed in garages, tunnels etc. |
When the concentration reaches a certain level the fans are activated automatically. The fans shut down again when the concentration is less than the in beforehand settled level.
 
Supervision of explosive gases
Where flammable gases are handled and/or stored there is always a risk of leakage. A SAMON gas monitoring system supervises the air continually and alarms before any explosion risk has occurred. The alarm levels are normally adjusted to 20% of LEL (lowest explosion level).
A SAMON gas monitoring system gives safety and is, compared to the risks, a very inexpensive and good insurance.
